Administrative Assistant (part-time).

Summary: Ensures that all aspects of the front office are in compliance with the standards set forth by the organization pertaining to quality care and service. Ensuring intake forms and client files are compliant and readily available, perform basic Bookkeeping duties as well as marketing and outreach duties, in support of the Executive Director. Major duties include client intake communications, social media and marketing, along with mission partner development and youth outreach. Record keeping, ensuring efficient office procedures, including business operating systems; Ekyros, and Comcast telephone answering system, BrightCourse and HopeSync. 

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments and/or directing phone calls to appropriate staff to further discern the needs of the caller. Responsible for scheduling client, donor, and volunteer appointments within the center. Responsible for implementing website and social media updates, assisting the Executive director with outreach marketing campaigns, financial record keeping and data entry. This position is also responsible for data entry in QuickBooks.

Education and/or Experience:

  • A.A. (Associate Degree) or combination of education and experience, Bachelor of Arts preferred.

  • Agree to complete 16 hour new-hire training and attend annual training events.

 

Computer/Communications Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software, Graphic Design aptitude, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software on multiple platforms. Will also be willing to learn current business financial, computer and telephone system. Demonstrate ability to initiate, create, and accurately communicate verbally and in written forms.
